DTA21:  Microsoft Announces Support for UK Public Sector Digital Transformation  |  Insight

Microsoft and the UK government have agreed on public sector organisations benefiting from select Microsoft products and services, bringing together discount programmes for Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform cloud services.

DTA21:  Supporting Public Sector Digital Transformation

Microsoft UK recently announced it has signed a new 3-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UK government, allowing eligible public sector organisations to benefit from discounts and beneficial terms for select Microsoft products and services.

The new MOU, titled the ‘Digital Transformation Arrangement 2021’ (DTA21), brings together discount programmes for Microsoft 365, Azure, and for the first time - Dynamics 365 and Power Platform cloud services.

DTA21 renews the existing DTA MOU as a three-year agreement starting May 1, 2021, and running until April 2024.

The new MOU was negotiated by Microsoft and Crown Commercial Service (CCS).  It builds on the Government’s One Government Cloud Strategy and the principles of the Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) strategy, which focuses on modernising technology, strengthening cyber defence, improving digital skills and embedding a culture of innovation.
